Raffle & Silent Auction

MerleFest Raffle

The MerleFest Raffle is an opportunity for festival-goers to enter for chances to win items such as CDs, magazine subscriptions, heritage crafts and even acoustic instruments.

MerleFest Raffle tickets may be purchased for $5 per ticket. Our friendly volunteers in the Raffle & Silent Auction Booth will be happy to assist you. Grand prizes for 2014 will include:

VIP Package for Four 

(4) VIP Passes

(1) On-campus parking

(4) $25 gift certificates to the MerleFest Gift Shop


General Addmission Package for Two 

(2) General Admission Passes

(1) On-campus parking

(1) Hotel Room at the Wilkesboro Holiday Room, Four Nights


Silent/Live Auction

The MerleFest Silent/Live Auction is an opportunity for festival-goers to bid on specially selected items throughout the festival weekend! The Silent Auction is open for bidding until 12:00 noon festival Sunday with winning bids announced at 1:45 pm.

When you visit the Raffle & Silent/Live Auction booth our friendly volunteers will assist you with the bidding process. Bids will be entered into the bid forms available for each item. Participants should be aware that by placing a bid, you are entering into a binding contract obligating you to purchase the item if you have the winning bid. Please note that our auction begins as a silent auction and continues in this format until Sunday 12 noon; then it becomes a live auction conducted by MerleFest Raffle/Silent Auction team leaders. If you are bidding on an item and want to ensure that you recieve the item, you must be at the tent by 12:00 noon.

Proceeds from the MerleFest Raffle & Silent/Live Auction help support the Merle Watson Scholarship.
