The Shoppes at MerleFest
The Shoppes at MerleFest is a centrally located shopping village of commercial vendors, official MerleFest memorabilia, and services such as first aid, lost and found, overnight storage, and internet access. Festival guests can peruse vendor booths, check email and pick up an official MerleFest tee-shirt all in one spot!
Vendors are carefully selected to provide a variety of quality and unique goods for every MerleFest fan.
Located in the center of The Shoppes at MerleFest is a large grass area for festival-goers to enjoy a snack, visit with friends, or just enjoy the festival atmosphere.

Rules and Guidelines for The Shoppes at MerleFest
All vendors (non-food) are welcome to apply. All vendor applications are subject to a jury process and MerleFest reserves the right to deny any application without explanation. Vendors in The Shoppes at MerleFest will be based on criteria as developed by Wilkes Community College Endowment Corporation and implemented in a manner that creates an optimum competitive environment for all vendors. Tents will be provided and installed by MerleFest. Vendor is responsible for constructing, furnishing, maintaining and removing your own booth materials, leftovers and trash.
Vendors must have:
- An attractive, professional, maintained booth appearance
- A professional looking sign
- Quality merchandise
- Courteous, friendly music-loving personnel
- Proof of insurance
Vendors in The Shoppes at MerleFest pay one flat fee with NO percentages. Fee includes the cost of your tent, set-up of tent, fire extinguisher, gutters (if applicable), table, chairs, one lightbulb (for nighttime illumination), security, as well as general admission passes and one on campus parking pass.
10'x10' booth - $850.00
10'x20' booth - $1,700.00
10x30' booth - $2,200.00
Acceptance notifications will be sent via mail or email. All vendor fess will be due within 30 days of acceptance letter. Certified Money Orders, checks and credit cards (VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER & AMERICAN EXPRESS) are accepted. All returned checks will be an automatic disqualification of acceptance. Proof of insurance is required. No vendor will be allowed to set up on festival grounds unless full payment has been received.
