DATES TO REMEMBER 

October 1, 2012 - Volunteer Applications for MerleFest 2013 will be available online

 April 24, 2013 - Volunteer Kick Off Party - located at Mayes Pit/Cohn Auditorium.  Party will begin at 6:00pm.

April 25-28, 2013 - MerleFest 2013!!!

Wilkes Community College is a TOBACCO FREE CAMPUS--The use of tobacco products is not permitted in buildings or on the grounds and property of the WCC campus. 

MerleFest volunteers are encouraged to wear their MerleFest Volunteer Commemorative Pins. This tradition began in 2008. We encourage you to wear your pins to every festival.

February 2013 - Volunteer Spotlight - Trent Cleary

Trent Cleary, a native of Wilkesboro, is a junior at North Carolina State University where he is studying business administration and supply chain operations. His hobbies include playing basketball and tennis. He also enjoys weight training. His newest hobby is cooking, and he’s pretty good at it!

April 2012 - Group Spotlight - BROC

Jo Phipps and her mother Betty White head up the team from the Blue Ridge Opportunity Commission (BROC) who help feed the hungry throngs who come to MerleFest each year. BROC is one of the nonprofit food vendors in the large food tent at the festival.
